Direct responsibility for managing day-to-day IT departmental operations of this 90-employee, not-for-profit company. Projects consisted of planned and implemented replacement of the companies' phone system, mobile phones, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) web-based solution that automated a complete clinical point-of-care for home care and hospice clients.

Managed and maintained WAN/LAN for Office of Corporate Financial Systems, Department of Energy.

·         Migrated 180 users system-wide from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95. Set up user access and troubleshot software/hardware installation and configuration issues.

·         Created and manipulated databases and table space using Oracle, SQL and UNIX on Solaris platforms.

·         Developed rules to alert operator of probable fault cause and exact location of faulty device for Defense Information Systems Agency integrated network management system.

·         Designed critical alarm system that would trigger and notify operator when nodes are in travel for White House Communications Agency.

 

Graphic Support Specialist  (1994-1995).

Diagrammed client networks. Tested attributes of models linked to graphics to show trouble spots and alarms. Developed graphic user interfaces and supported clients in configuration management of databases.
